Q2: How does a solar power system work?

In basic terms, firstly, the sunlight hits the solar panels. Then the panels generate DC electricity. Then it is converted into A.C. 240 volt electricity by the Inverter included in the system, to your “Freely” supplied new Electronic Meter (Thanks Aurora) to run your home.

But the surplus electricity that’s not consumed is fed back into the grid and used by the neighbourhood, which with others, helps to de-stress the network upgrade requirements, which benefits us all.
